    Narrowed c-10 front crossmember

    1] Here are some pictures of a cross member that I did a couple of years ago. I took 2.25 inches out of the middle. I did it on one of my trucks I never finished it because itís mine. I had to get to work on a paying job.

    I made sure it was level. This way when I welded some legs on it when I put it back together it was true and square.









    All I did was find the center mark it with 2Ē tape and make some lines. I went with 2 inches because I didnít need a bunch of clearance.

    Ok Lou Like always Great work and tip But I'm brain dead. Why? are you adding Rack and Pinion steering? If so How and which Rack, or the off the shelf stock Equivalent.
